Enrollment Opportunities
What is Head Start?
Head Start is a national program for income-eligible families that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of education, health, nutrition, social and other services to enrolled children and families.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year.

Head Start receives 80% of its funding from the Federal government, under the supervision of The Office of Head Start, Administration for Children and Families. The other 20% of funding is derived from in- kind (donations of time, materials, equipment, lease space, etc.) from Head Start families and Community Representatives.
